Frequently asked questions
Intravenous (IV) therapy is the administration of vitamins and fluids directly into the bloodstream. It enhances the absorption of vitamins and nutrients by bypassing the digestive system. IV hydration can be effective for a variety of conditions such as dehydration, immune boost, fatigue, skin health, and much more.
Our vitamins are monitored for efficiency and undergo elevated levels of testing. A provider orders the vitamins through a pharmacy. A Registered Nurse administers all IVs and injections, and our medical director oversees all treatments. Our clinical team will review each client’s history prior to treatment.
Side effects occur rarely, but if they do, they are usually minor and short-lived. Mild bruising, slight bleeding from the site, and soreness can occur. Some people may report a feeling of coolness of the arm, a metallic taste in the mouth from the vitamins, and a vitamin smell in their urine. All these are normal.
